Terms of Service

Last updated: March 15, 2026

Important Notice: SilkHub is an enterprise-grade AI API gateway platform. We provide technical interface capabilities only and are intended for developers and businesses for system integration and internal tooling. We do not directly provide generative AI content services to the general public.

1. Nature of Service

SilkHub provides a unified, OpenAI-compatible API gateway that routes requests to upstream AI model providers (including DeepSeek, Kimi/Moonshot, Qwen/Alibaba Cloud, MiniMax, and others). Our service acts solely as a technical routing layer.

  • We do not generate, store, modify, or review AI model outputs.
  • We do not resell, proxy, or hold API token quotas on your behalf.
  • This is a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) platform — you supply your own upstream provider API keys; we route your requests and return responses.
  • Service fees are charged for platform access and tooling convenience, not for token consumption.

2. Eligibility and Registration

This service is intended for developers, technical teams, and businesses. By registering, you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and that your intended use complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and SilkHub gateway API keys.

3. Data and Cross-Border Transmission

By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that your API requests will be transmitted to third-party upstream AI model providers (such as DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, Alibaba Cloud, MiniMax, etc.) for processing.

  • You confirm you have the legal right to transmit such data to the relevant upstream providers and accept all data compliance obligations.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your data does not violate applicable privacy laws, data protection regulations, or any third-party rights.
  • SilkHub does not analyze, store, or utilize the content of your API requests or model responses. We only log metadata (see Privacy Policy).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SilkHub to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Generate, distribute, or promote content that is illegal, harmful, or defamatory.
  • Circumvent or abuse rate limits, quotas, or access controls.
  • Resell or sublicense gateway access to third parties without our written consent.
  • Deploy automated public-facing generative AI services that violate upstream provider terms.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract proprietary components of the platform.

You are fully responsible for all content generated through your use of this service.

5. Upstream Provider Terms

Your use of upstream AI model providers through SilkHub is also subject to each provider's own terms of service. You are responsible for compliance with those terms. SilkHub is not liable for any service interruption, key suspension, or account termination imposed by upstream providers.

6. BYOK and Key Security

Your upstream provider API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and are never exposed in logs. They are used solely to forward your requests to the respective upstream provider. We do not access, use, or share your keys for any other purpose.

You retain full ownership of your upstream API keys. If you suspect a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately with the respective provider.

7. Billing and Payments

Subscription fees are charged for platform access. Pricing is published on our website and may change with 30 days' notice. Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

The Free plan is subject to monthly request limits. Exceeding limits may result in request throttling until the next billing cycle.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for outages caused by upstream provider failures, network conditions, or force majeure events. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any purpose. You assume all risks associated with your use of the service and AI-generated outputs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SilkHub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

11. Intellectual Property

All platform software, trademarks, and documentation are the property of SilkHub. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent. Intellectual property rights in AI-generated content are governed by the respective upstream provider's terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of law rules). Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing which, either party may submit the dispute to the competent court at the location of the service provider.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice.
